The outfit of the week is definitely the summary of my summer look. Shorts, a cute top, a cardigan, and fun boots. It’s fun, comfortable, and perfect for those lazy summer days.
This week’s outfit contains an olive sweater paired over a bright polka dot top, a pair of shorts, crochet lace boots, and a simple brown leather bucket bag. Wear your hair in a waterfall braid to add a bit of simplicity to the look. The look is perfect for summer and just looks amazing in any situation.
This outfit of the week is perfect to transition from winter to spring. I know where I live the heat has turned it up, hitting 66 this week.
This outfit is so cute. Put together a cute pair of jeans shorts with a sweater with an image on it. I loved the heart because it’s so big and flirtatious. Next, add a pair of brogues (because they are soooo in right now) and a cute fedora. Fedoras are good in moderation, don’t forget that. If you aren’t a hat person, do a cute high ponytail with a ribbon tied around the hair band to cutesy it up a little. This outfit is meant for flirting, fun, and to not overheat in the changing weather. Enjoy!
Style never takes a break, and when the weather is in the transition between winter and spring, you definitely need to step up your style a notch. This week’s top outfit was worn Thursday. I wore rain boots, skinny jeans, a cute top and jacket and my hair is pretty waves. The look is simple and put together, with that perfect amount of New York indie. Perfect for the girl on the go, and it keeps you dry too!
This Outfit of the Week was worn on Thursday. It’s very girly and has a definitely Audrey Hepburn look. It’s a great look that can work as casual or for a date.
This outfit includes: a black top with a sequined Peter Pan collar, cuffed jeans, bright forest green flats, a neutral bag, and a pair of over sized sunglasses. Wear your hair loosely around your shoulders for a more relaxed look. And don’t forget a great pout to complete it!
This week’s Outfit of the Week was worn on Tuesday. It was a simple and classy look that scored high on the fashion charts and was just gorgeous. It looks good on all occasions and was relatively simple to wear.
The outfit includes: a pair of neutral flats, preferably like the ones in the set, a pair of skinny jeans, a black top, a cream sweater, and hair either in a bun or loose and curly. Don’t forget a fun accessory, such as this gorgeous pink and gold ring, to make it your own!

Stripes is one of my absolute favorite patterns. It can go with anything and they look fabulous. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to wear stripes and can wear them atrociously. And what’s the fun of fashion if you don’t look good? So here are some pointers for how to wear stripes.
Wear Minimal Accessories. If you wear accessories that compete with your stripes, you become too busy and completely distract. Wearing minimal accessories (like solids and neutrals) you create a beautiful palette with stripes being your main focus.
Big or Small? If you have broad shoulders, choose smaller stripes, since thicker stripes will make your shoulders look ever bigger. If you are petite, a thicker stripe will create curves.
Play it Nautical. Very few patterns have a built-in theme like stripes. Stripes can instantly look nautical with the right accessories, such as an anchor necklace or a pair of boat shoes. If you’re having trouble getting dressed in the morning, just choose a striped shirt and a nautical accessory and you will look instantly great.
Let Them Emphasize an Already Great Outfit. When you have on a bunch of great solid separates, choose a striped skirt to bring it all together, making the look absolutely put together and chic.
And that’s all for today’s How to Wear… Check back again soon!
